Telstra Microsoft OneDrive 200GB technical glitch

Hi guys,

I'm having the same problem that so many people reported in April 2016. It's now December 2017.

When redeeming the Microsoft OneDrive 200GB offer, I receive the technical glitch message and a suggestion to try again. I've tried for days but no luck. I've tried on my phone and my computer.

I have signed up for an iPhone 8 Plus on a new plan so from what I read on the Telstra website, I am eligible.

Hey Bri, 

I'm sorry to see the trouble that you're having with getting this redeemed, thanks for sharing that video. 

This issue was previously resolved, but there's a been a couple of instances of it reoccurring recently. 
I can see that this has been escalated by our team a few days ago, as soon as I have any further update I'll let you know here.

No, this issue is not resolved. It may have been resolved for other people in the past but it's an open issue for me. I still have the same result when I try to redeem the offer.

The ticket needs to remain open until it is resolved.

I will wait for Jesse to provide further information when it becomes available.

I have been following up this issue and I can confirm it is working now.

To avoid mistake in claiming the offer into a wrong OneDrive account, please follow these steps

1. Start a "Private Window" or "Incognito Window".
2. Login to onedrive dot com where you want your OneDrive to have this 200GB
3. Login to Telstra.com.au
4. Click this link https://www.telstra.com.au/latest-offers/onedrive
5. Click the Redeem Offer button
6. If you have never authorise Telstra to add storage to your OneDrive, you will be prompt to allow this, click Yes. If you have previously allowed Telstra to add storage to your OneDrive, the process will just go through.
7. Wait for the successful message.
8. Head back to OneDrive and on the bottom left you will see the extra 200GB storage.
9. Native OneDrive app will take awhile until the real quota shows up.
