Ethernet cable WAN extensions

Answered

Hello

We are rearranging furniture and the current WAN ethernet cable is too short. I already brought an ethernet cable 5m long from Belkin and the cable says its CAT5E CM 24AWG 4PR ANSI/TIA-568-C. Is this ok to connect from modem to the FTTP router? The Telstra one is CAT5E UTP 24AWG 4PR EIA/TIA 568B.

Yes you can use the cable to connect the WAN port of the modem to the UNI_D port on the FTTP NTD.
