MMS settings

Answered

Xperia 4a1 Ultra.

i had to manually set APN as it didnt automatically update. In trying to set the MMS side of things one of the settings I have to set is MMS Protocol - WAP 2.0.

My problem is that my phone does not show MMS Protocol in the APN settings.

This one setting seems to be stopping me from sending/recieving pictures messages.

Any ideas??

Re: MMS settings

try heading to Settings > More > Internet Settings.

That should connect and download the internet and mms settings direct from Telstra.

Also what app are you using for SMS? the default or a 3rd party?

Note: I am in no way affiliated with Telstra, i simply work in the IT industry and my posts are from experiences.

Re: MMS settings

Thats not an option under settings.

Worked it out anyway. Had to set up 2 APN. 1 for internet, 1 for MMS

Set it & forget it
